David Ndii asked to “Resign” after Claiming Kenyans Got Leaders They Deserve

The tweet from David Ndii, economic advisor to President William Ruto, has sparked strong criticism from Kenyan citizens.

On the 5th of December, the outspoken economist took to Twitter, suggesting that Kenyans will receive the leadership they merit in the 2022 elections.

“People get the leaders they deserve,” Ndii posted on his X formerly Twitter.

Ndii’s tweet provoked anger among Kenyans, with some questioning why he remained in a government he lacked faith in.

Others expressed the sentiment that they did not want to be governed by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, of which Ndii was a part.
