Musalia Mudavadi Tells Kenyans Fate of Kenya Kwanza Campaign Promises
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has guaranteed the Kenyan public that President William Ruto’s government is committed to delivering on all the promises made during the campaign.
At the 44th Vihiga Annual Cultural Festival held on Tuesday, December 26, Mudavadi stated that the government is actively working to bring stability to the economy.
Despite facing challenges such as the increasing cost of living, Mudavadi emphasized that the Kenya Kwanza administration remains resolute in its commitment to fulfill the promises made during the campaign.
“We are making efforts towards stabilising the economy by all means possible. We promise Kenyans that we shall live up to each and every commitment we made and where we shall face challenges, for sure we will tell Kenyans the truth without hiding any cards under the table,” Mudavadi said.
Mudavadi, serving as both the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and the Prime Cabinet Secretary, asserted that the Ruto administration inherited a weakened economy, compelling them to implement stringent measures, such as elevated taxes.
He urged Kenyans to maintain a positive outlook and back the government’s initiatives, contending that these efforts are intended to benefit the people of Kenya.
“My plea to Kenyans, even as we bid goodbye to 2023, is to remain optimistic and support policies of the government. The government means well for all Kenyans,” he added.
