Peter Salasya Breaks Silence Concerning Lose of His Fuel Guzzler Due to Loan Defaulting
Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has responded furiously to allegations that he is going to lose his vehicle.
According to NTV Kenya, an auctioneer was permitted to confiscate Salasya’s property after he allegedly failed to pay a KSh 500,000 debt.
The Small Claims Court (SCC) in Kakamega reportedly ordered the police to provide adequate protection for the auctioneer as he attempted to seize the MP’s car.
Caroline Cheruiyot, the SCC Magistrate, gave Armok Auctioneers the right to be safeguarded when mounting the car.
Businessman Robert Lutta reportedly secured the order to sell the vehicle in order to collect his KSh 500,000 loan from Salasya.
However, in a rapid response to the news, Salasya threatened to break into the media house’s offices, claiming that he would teach them a lesson.
Salasya claimed he was now repaying a KSh 400,000 debt he obtained after purchasing his Toyota Landcruiser V8.
The legislator went on to say that he was almost done repaying the debt and dismissed the reports as fake.
“I will storm your offices and teach you a good lesson. I’m currently servicing a loan of 400k for my V8 na karibu namaliza. This is purely lies,” he said.
