Raila Odinga Lightens Mood at ODM Press Briefing, Playfully Refers to Journalist Stephen Letoo as ‘Bwana Harusi’
Raila Odinga, the ODM party leader, promised to attend journalist Stephen Letoo’s wedding in Narok.
Raila began his press briefing on Wednesday, April 3, by humorously teasing Letoo, ‘nimeona bwana harusi’.
”I can see bwana harusi, nitakuja kula mbuzi ikichinjwa,” Raila joked.
Letoo responded to the former prime minister’s’self-invitation’ by posting on Instagram.
Letoo’s much-anticipated wedding at Ole Ntimama Stadium in Kajiado will begin at 8 a.m., according to a message that Letoo routinely shares on his social media pages.
On March 17, Letoo sent an invitation to socialite Vera Sidika and cordially invited Luo Ohangla outstanding musician Prince Indah to his lavish public wedding.
Men’s conference chairperson
On February 14, Valentine’s Day, Letoo encouraged men around the nation to attend the Men’s Conference. The late Mzee Jackson Kibor of Uasin Gishu popularised the Men’s Conference.
Mzee Kibor sponsored the inaugural Men’s Conference in Eldoret on October 21, 2019. Since its start, young men around the nation have marketed the event, making him chairman of the Men’s Conference.
Following his death, Letoo was the leading candidate, succeeding Mzee Kibor as chairperson. Letoo has actively campaigned for polygamy, as shown on his Instagram profile.
This public admission of polygamy qualifies him to succeed as chairman. During a cabinet meeting in Naivasha, President William Ruto joked with Letoo, ”Men’s Conference imeendaje?
